As long as the particular model of Kindle or Nook is under 10mm in width, then it will fit within the grooves of the Tablift. The restraining strap lodges it tightly between the two sides of the groove.
Do the leg bend?
Yes completely. Can move in all directions, side to side, up and down, back and forth. Extremely flexible.
Will this fit a surface pro 7?
As long as you are only using it as a tablet and don't have the keyboard attached, then yet, it should work fine.
Does it hold the tablet securely so there is no give when using a touchscreen?
Yes, if you attach the elastic clamp.
Will this hold an iPad with a cover on it?
It will as long as with the cover on the whole things is less than 10mm thick. Also, it needs to be a hard cover as the tablift grips the edges. So covers are usually ok, as long as they are thin enough.
